Historical Markers

Picture Time!
Last Saturday we missed the exit to the town we were planning to go to and ended up in Eureka. Awesome place. To get home, we drove up to Tooele. Yes. That means we drove all around the Bingham Canyon mountains! It was an awesome drive. Lost of open space, tiny towns and HISTORICAL MARKERS!
We got so many pictures that don't fit in a town I have to post them.

This marker has been used for target practice. Rude!

The above marker of the underground store... I couldn't see anything remaining

Just an awesome house abandoned & falling apart about 20 minutes south of Tooele City

Pony Express marker in Faust City

I'm doing some research at the Utah Division of Archives and Records Services to see if I can find the story behind this Shaeffer family and their 9 month old buried out here alone.
